We’ve curated a specialty menu just for our passengers as they travel down the rails. All meals are prepared fresh onboard by our chef and kitchen staff and served by a private attendant. We proudly blend southern favorites with fresh and healthy sides to provide a memorable dining experience. Meals are pre-selected at time of booking to ensure all are fully satisfied!

Southern Pork Lunch (GF)

Slow cooked pork loin layered over red skinned garlic mashed potatoes drizzled with a sweet and savory southern house made barbeque sauce. Includes a vegetable medley of green beans & carrots, a dinner roll and butter. MEAL IS GLUTEN FREE WITHOUT ROLL. DOES NOT CONTAIN SOYBEAN PRODUCTS.

Roast Beef Dinner

SSlow cooked top sirloin placed on top of red skinned garlic mashed potatoes covered in red wine gravy. Includes a vegetable medley of green beans & carrots, a dinner roll and butter. CAN BE GLUTEN FREE WITHOUT GRAVY AND ROLL. GRAVY DOES CONTAIN SOYBEAN PRODUCTS.

Vegetarian Option

Grilled portobello and eggplant over a blend of quinoa, garbanzo, and edamame grains. Includes a vegetable medley of green beans & carrots, a dinner roll and butter. CAN BE GLUTEN FREE WITHOUT ROLL. IT IS VEGAN WITHOUT BUTTER. GRAINS CONTAIN SOYBEAN PRODUCTS.

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad

6oz Grilled chicken breast atop crisp romaine lettuce, shaved parmesan cheese, and garlic croutons. Served with dressing, roll & butter on the side. CAN BE GLUTEN FREE WITHOUT CROUTONS. CHICKEN & DRESSING BOTH CONTAIN SOYBEAN PRODUCTS.

Sliced roast beef with gravy, garlic red skin mashed potatoes, and green beans.

Vegetarian Salad

Spring mix with onion, tomato, cucumber, egg, crackers, and Balsamic Vinaigrette. Gluten free and/or Vegan preparation available upon request.

Cheese Pizza and Applesauce

7 in. pizza with sauce and mozzarella cheese. Cinnamon applesauce on side.

Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, & Applesauce

2 Tyson breaded chicken tenders with Kraft macaroni and cheese and cinnamon applesauce.

Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich

House made pulled pork BBQ sandwich on a brioche bun, side of baked beans, side of Cole slaw, and a bag of sea salt kettle chips. CAN BE GLUTEN FREE WITHOUT BUN. SLAW CONTAINS SOYBEAN PRODUCTS.

Vegetarian wrap

Sun dried tomato tortilla filled with black bean hummus, spring mix, carrots, broccoli, tomato, and red onion. Served with baked beans, Cole slaw, and a bag of sea salt kettle chips. CAN BE GLUTEN FREE WITH TORTILLA SUBSTITUTE. SLAW CONTAINS SOYBEAN PRODUCTS.

Boxed Lunches

Save money by planning ahead and dining onboard by pre purchasing one of our boxed lunches! Great food for a great value! You can purchase these lunches during your reservation process, either online or over the phone. Packaged picnic-style, boxed, and ready to enjoy on the train. The boxed lunches are available for pick up with proof of purchase on the depot deck at the Café. If you are riding in the First Class or Premium Open Air on the Nantahala Gorge excursions, you will choose from the previously listed menu options.
